Skjelbred wanted by top sides

Per Ciljan Skjelbred is reportedly a target for Arsenal, Man City, Tottenham and Blackburn. The Rosenborg midfielder is valued at around £5 million and his club admitted that it would be difficult to hang on to one of their prized assets.

"At some point we will lose him, but I hope that it is many years until that happens," Rosenborg director Erik Hoftun told VG.

"However, if a top club puts £5million on the table it will be hard to keep hold of him."

"I don't care that people are interested in me," Skjelbred said of the speculation.

"I play for Rosenborg and my focus will remain here."
