Juventus plan to re-sign Alvaro Morata
Serie A holders Juventus have reportedly opened talks with Chelsea over a potential deal to bring Alvaro Morata back to the Allianz Stadium.
The Spain international spent two seasons with the Old Lady between 2014 and 2016 before heading back to Real Madrid via a buy-back clause.
Morata only spent a further 12 months with his hometown club before deciding to join Chelsea on a club-record deal in the previous summer transfer window.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the Bianconeri are prepared to lure Morata back to Turin with Mario Mandzukic heading towards a summer exit from the club.
The Croatian has been tipped to pursue a move to Turkey at the end of the campaign, and the Italian giants have supposedly earmarked Morata as the prime candidate to fill the void.
Morata has not performed to the best of abilities during his time at Stamford Bridge, but he has nevertheless managed 14 goals in 41 appearances across all competitions.
As a result of his average form, the Blues are keen on pursuing a new marksman during the summer, and his future may be more or less dependant on who manages the club after Antonio Conte.
