Tottenham have been impressed with the performances of Red Bull Salzburg striker Hwang Hee-chan and have been linked with a summer transfer move for the striker. Red Bull Salzburg are in this season's semi-finals of the Europa League and Hwang has been one of the stars of the Austrian club's campaign so far.



Tottenham have been personally recommended to the striker by fellow South Korean Son Heung-min after the Chuncheon born 22-year-old's impressive form for both club and country.

It is understood that Spurs will have to fork out as much as 10 million euros to sign the striker, who is under contract with RB Salzburg until 2020. 

The youngster has represented his national team 11 times, scoring 2 goals, and had his breakout season for RB Salzburg in 2016-17, having arrived from feeder club FC Liefering, where the striker had impressed in the season prior. 

Tottenham will beat several German club's to the 5 foot 9 striker's signature, including Hertha Berlin, Hoffenheim, Hamburg and Bayer Leverkusen.
