England concerned by Harry Kane's fitness

England are reportedly concerned about the fitness of Harry Kane ahead of this summer's World Cup finals in Russia. The Tottenham Hotspur recently made his recovery from an ankle problem but the country's medical team are concerned that he may have rushed his return from the injury.
Kane has netted three goals in six appearances since his comeback but his performances have been far off when compared to his form much earlier in the campaign.
According to The Times, the Three Lions' medical staff believe the Spurs striker may have compromised his chances of attaining peak fitness after rushing back to action with the north London club.
Kane was initially expected to be ruled out for around six weeks with the ankle problem but he made his comeback against Chelsea as a substitute last month to everyone's surprise.
The striker is obviously desperate to win the Premier League Golden Boot for the third season on the bounce but he has plenty of catching up to do with Liverpool's Mohamed Salah holding a four-goal advantage over him with just three games left.
