Nabil Fekir responds to Liverpool transfer link
Lyon attacker Nabil Fekir has opened up on his reported conversations with Premier League duo Liverpool and Chelsea regarding a summer transfer move. The talented forward has grabbed 17 goals in Ligue 1 so far this season and is amongst the best players in the French league.
It is understood that Fekir's preferred destination is England but also that Ligue 1 Champions Paris St Germain are watching the attacker's situation very closely.
Both Chelsea and Liverpool are believed to be in the running to sign Fekir, and the French international has responded to the speculation of a transfer to Anfield, saying: “There’s nothing for the moment. I’m still at Lyon.
“There are two matches left. We’ll prepare for them in the best possible way. At the end of the season, we’ll see, but for the moment, there’s nothing.”
Fekir is expected to be one of the top transfer targets across Europe once the transfer window reopens. It is understood that Lyon are expected to recoup around 70 million euros if they decide to sell the player.
