Hector Bellerin speaks on his Arsenal future
Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin has said that he is content at the Emirates Stadium but he has not refused to rule out a future move elsewhere.
The Spain international was one of the Gunners' leading performers during the 2015/16 campaign where he was eventually named in the PFA Team of the Year.
However, he has since not been able to produce consistent performances with a knee injury during the previous campaign hampering his transformation into a world-class full-back.
In an interview with Mr Porter, Bellerin stressed that he is happy in north London for the moment but could be urged to consider his position in the future.
He said: "I don't know what to say – football always changes. I'm so happy here. This has been my home for seven years. I sound like a Londoner, my friends are from London – it's the place I want to be right now. In the future, you never know."
Bellerin added that Barcelona remain in his heart despite leaving their academy more than six years ago and a return to Catalonia could be an option for the right-sided defender.
The Spaniard has made 45 appearances across all competitions for the Gunners this term, scoring three goals and creating a further five under Arsene Wenger.
