Lucas Perez's agent drops update on his client's future

The representative of Lucas Perez has hinted that his client could be interested in a move to Lazio. The 29-year-old is currently contracted to Arsenal until the summer of 2020.

Perez had an average first season with the Gunners between 2016 and 2017 and this eventually pushed him for a return to Deportivo on loan for the 2017/18 season.

However, he could not make a similar impact prior to his earlier stint and the Spaniard is now eyeing a fresh challenge with Lazio said to be interested in his signature.

"He still has two years left on his contract with Arsenal, so we need to talk to them first," Agent Rodrigo Fernandez told Lalaziosiamonoi.it. "He likes the idea of playing for Lazio, but it's still too early to talk about it."

Perez is due to report to the Gunners for pre-season training and his future could be sorted out once the club appoint a new head coach. He has managed just two league starts for Arsenal to date.
