Courtois mystified by Chelsea exit talk

Belgium international Thibaut Courtois is reportedly mystified by the ongoing talk of him leaving Chelsea during the summer transfer window.

A recent report suggested that the Blues had ended contract negotiations with the goalkeeper and this may witness his Stamford Bridge exit with his contract expiring in 12 months' time.

However, according to Evening Standard, the 26-year-old has been surprised by the ongoing claim and he has no plans of pursuing an exit from the west London giants.

Courtois is currently with Roberto Martinez's side for the summer World Cup in Russia and the shot-stopper has planned contract talks with the Blues following the global tournament.

Chelsea have recently been associated with a move for AS Roma's Alisson Becker but a move looks unlikely to happen, unless Courtois surprisingly parts ways with the club.

Courtois has managed more than 150 appearances for Chelsea since making his debut during the 2014/15 season. The Belgian has won two Premier League titles in this period.
