Tottenham, Southampton express interest in Lookman
Tottenham Hotspur and Southampton are prepared to rival RB Leipzig in the pursuit of Everton attacker Ademola Lookman.
The 20-year-old was impressive during his loan stint at Leipzig in the second half of last season where he notched five goals and three assists in just 11 appearances.
As such, Leipzig have experienced a keen interest in acquiring his services on a long-term basis this summer but they could face possible competition from Tottenham and Southampton, The Mirror claims.
Nevertheless, the Toffees are said to have no plans of offloading Lookman in the near future and sporting director Marcel Brands is expected to hold discussions with the youngster to convince him to stay.
Lookman joined the Merseyside outfit from Charlton Athletic in the winter of 2017 and he has since made 16 appearances for the club across all competitions. His current contract only expires in the summer of 2021.
