Tottenham chase Kameni

Tottenham's assistant manager Gus Poyet has admitted that Espanyol and Cameroon goalkeeper Carlos Idris Kameni is on the clubs wanted list. The Cameroonian keeper is also rumoured to be followed closely by Man Utd.

"Kameni and Jarque are very interesting players and every player that is interesting is welcome at a club like Tottenham," he told RAC1's ‘Primer toc’ (First Touch) programme.

"Both are on a long list of players that the sporting director has and that the club is looking at to strengthen the squad.

"The decision on which players will be approached has not been taken.

"In the future, the matter will be resolved and decided."
