Liverpool make their final decision on Alisson
Liverpool have reportedly ended their ongoing interest in AS Roma goalkeeper Alisson after knowing of the hefty price tag on his head.
The Reds have prioritised a new keeper for the summer following the errors made by both Loris Karius and Simon Mignolet during the previous campaign.
According to Sky Sports News, the Reds have decided against a move for the Brazil international as they are unlikely to afford the player's £80m valuation.
Alisson has already indicated that he would like to resolve his future by the end of the week and it now appears that Real Madrid are the clear favourites for his signature.
Los Blancos are understood to have already held negotiations with the player's representative and the deal could be finalised before Alisson represents Brazil at the summer World Cup.
Alisson has been Brazil's first-choice goalkeeper over the past three years and he is expected to start between the sticks during their tournament opener against Switzerland.
