Lazio lining up shock move for Aaron Ramsey

Lazio are reportedly planning an attempt to pursue the services of Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey whose contract is due to expire at the end of next season.

The Wales international has yet to put pen-to-paper on a new contract with the Gunners and his reluctance to do so may witness his exit from the Emirates.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Lazio could be prepared to go all out for Ramsey this summer with Sergej Milinkovic-Savic tipped to secure a big-money move elsewhere.

However, Lazio cannot assure the Welshman of Champions League football after finishing only fifth in the standings and this may hamper their chances of luring him from the Emirates Stadium.

Ramsey has been the Gunners for over the past decade and during his period, he has become their leading goalscorer from midfield in their history. He was voted as the club's Player of the Year last term ahead of Nacho Monreal by the narrowest of margins.
