Pickford praises Kane's penalty technique

Harry Kane news

England goalkeeper has praised striker Harry Kane for the manner in which he converted his two penalty kicks against Panama the ongoing Russia 2018 World Cup.

Kane scored three goals as England defeated Panama by six goals to one last Sunday. The win was England's second win of the tournament.

The Everton goalkeeper described the Tottenham Hotspurs man as a top forward and highlighted the power and accuracy in the penalties.

"He is a top forward for starters, that is his main game - finishing. I was watching him from my end of the pitch and his two penalties were top drawer," Pickford said, Sky Sports reports.

Kane's three goals against Panama makes him the highest goal scorer at this stage of the World Cup with five goals.

His five goals in Russia has shown that Kane has taken his club form into the World Cup. He scored 29 Premier League goals last season to help Spurs finish in 3rd position.

With his goals against Panama, Kane became the first English player to score a hattrick for England at the World Cup for over thirty years.

Gary Lineker was the last Englishman to score a World Cup hattrick - that was in 1986 against Poland.
