PSG star holds talks with Manchester clubs

Manchester United and Manchester City have held talks with the representatives of Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot about a potential transfer, The Sun reports.

The two clubs have spoken to the player's agent and his mother about a move for the player who is said to be unhappy in Paris.

Talks have also been held with Juventus and Barcelona over a move for the player who has spent eight years with the French club.

United are still looking to add another midfielder after completing the signing of Fred from Shakhtar Donetsk. It is important to note that United still have other midfield players who are not getting playing time as things are currently.

United have also secured the services of Belgian midfielder Marouane Fellaini for another two seasons.

Manchester City who have had a relatively quiet transfer period so far could be looking to add the midfielder to their title winning side ahead of next season.

It remains to be seen which club is favourite to sign the player, but it will be revealed in due time as the transfer season progresses.
