Ronaldo agrees to join Juventus?

Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly said to have agreed to join Juventus after they decided to trigger the reduced £88m release clause on his current contract.

The Portugal international hinted about a potential exit from the European champions shortly after the Champions League final in May and he has since been linked with a number of sides including former club Manchester United.

In the middle of this, O Jogo claims that the Portuguese could be heading to Turin during the summer with the Bianconeri said to have accepted to activate his £88m escape clause.

It is added that the Serie A holders are also willing to break their wage structure for the current Ballon d'Or holder and they are prepared to offer a four-year contract worth £101m.

Ronaldo has notched 450 goals during his nine seasons with Los Blancos and during this period, he has also gone on to win four Champions League crowns and two La Liga titles.
