Manchester United target Leonardo Bonucci wants a move back to former club Juventus, according to AC Milan's new sporting director Leonardo.

The Milan defender has been linked with a move to United and French club Paris Saint-Germain but it looks like he is interested in heading back to a club he left in the summer of 2017.

According to Sky Sports, Leonardo said: "I've met with a range of clubs, including Juventus. The desire (to talk to Juve) came from him, so if the conditions are right, we'll try to make it happen."

The Italian international helped Milan qualify for the Europa League by helping them finish sixth last season, playing 35 Serie A games and scoring two goals.

Manchester have turned their attention to England and Leicester City central defender Harry Maguire as they look for a quality player in that area.

They have reportedly had a £65m bid turned down by the Premier League side. Leicester want to keep Maguire and are willing to increase his wages to about a £100,000 to ensure that.
