Valencia name price for Tottenham target
Valencia have told Tottenham Hotspur to pay £70m if they want to sign midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia, Mirror Football reports.
Tottenham have not been able to sign a single player this summer and have so far, failed in their attempt to recruit Aston Villa attacker Jack Grealish.
This situation has attracted criticism from fans as the transfer window in England gradually draws to a close.
Chairman Daniel Levy wants to bring in the Frenchman to help boost Spurs' progress in recent years under Mauricio Pochettino.
At the age of 25, Kondogbia has already played for AS Monaco, Sevilla, RC Lens, Inter Milan and now Valencia.
Kondogbia moved to Valencia on loan in the summer of 2017, and made the deal permanent in May, 2018.
He made 31 appearances for the Spanish side last season, scoring four goals.
Tottenham are currently engaged in pre-season, and will face Italian AC Milan in the International Champions Cup on Wednesday morning. They face Newcastle United on the 11th of August in their first Premier League game of the 2018/19 season.
