Turkish giants Fenerbahce are keen on securing the services of Marcos Rojo from Manchester United this month.

The Argentine had been strongly linked with a move to Everton before the transfer deadline but the move failed to materialise.

Despite this, the centre-back could still be heading through the Old Trafford exit door with Fanatik claiming that Fener are planning an approach for the 28-year-old.

Nonetheless, they are only said to want the defender on an initial loan deal and this may not tempt United, considering they may prefer recouping funds for a future purchase.

Rojo is presently recovering from a knock picked up at the summer World Cup and this has witnessed him being absent from training since the start of pre-season.

Manchester United started off their league campaign on a good note as they picked up a close 2-1 win over Leicester City. Paul Pogba and Luke Shaw found the scoresheet for United before Jamie Vardy bagged the consolation for the Foxes.
