Liverpool goalkeeper keen on Napoli move?

The agent of Simon Mignolet has confirmed that there are waiting upon potential interest from Napoli before the Serie A transfer window closes on Friday.

The Belgium international has become the Reds' third-choice goalkeeper following the arrival of Alisson Becker earlier in the summer and he is now said to be desperate to pursue a new challenge.

Mignolet has most-recently been linked with a possible move to Besiktas but his agent has now suggested that Napoli may enter the race for the former Sunderland man.

He told Radio Kiss Kiss: "Mignolet likes Napoli and the interest is not new. There's no confirmation of a move to Napoli, though, and we'll have to wait to see if in the next few days they make an offer."

Liverpool begin their Premier League campaign with a home game against West Ham United today and Alisson Becker is widely expected to start between the sticks.
