Pogba's agent attacks Scholes

Paul Scholes news

Paul Pogba's agent Mino Raiola has criticised Manchester United legend Paul Scholes, saying that the former England international couldn't recognise a leader.

This is coming after Scholes criticised Pogba for his display in United's 3-2 loss to Brighton and Hove Albion on Sunday, saying that the Frenchman is not the leader the Red Devils are looking for.

Raiola tweeted: "Some people need to talk for fear of being forgotten. Paul Scholes wouldn’t recognize a leader if he was in front of Sir Winston Churchill." In a follow up tweet, Pogba's agent further teased Scholes by saying that he should become sports director at Old Trafford and advise Chief Executive Ed Woodward to sell his client.

Pogba has been linked with a move out of United with Barcelona interested in bringing him to the Nou Camp. The reigning La Liga champions have given up on signing him this year, but are willing to give it another try next season.

United are adamant they will not sell Pogba this summer or in January, but next summer is a long time from now, and a lot could happen between the World Cup winner and the Old Trafford outfit before then.
