Milner reveals one of the main reasons he joined Liverpool

Liverpool player James Milner has revealed that former manager Brendan Rodgers was one of the main reasons he joined the Reds.
Rodgers signed Milner from Manchester City on a free transfer in the summer of 2015.
Milner scored for Liverpool from the penalty spot in their 2-0 win over Crystal Palace in the Premier League yesterday night.
“My impression of Brendan was that he’s a very good manager. He was one of the main reasons I signed for Liverpool in fact,” Milner revealed, according to the Liverpool Echo.
Since his move to Anfield, Milner has done quite well for the Reds having played 134 games, scoring 16 goals and bagging 32 assists.
The former England international has played for Aston Villa, Leeds United, and Newcastle United in his ongoing career.
Rodgers was sacked by Liverpool in October of 2015, and was appointed Celtic boss in the summer of 2016.
He has gone on to win two league titles with the Scottish side, their seventh in a row.
