Sunderland want Kuffour
Sunderland are tying up a contract for Ghanaian defender Samuel Kuffour. The player is currently looking for a new club after being released from his Roma contract and playing last season on loan at Livorno.
Roy Keane is believed to want to add experience to his defence after last weekend's 3-0 defeat to Wigan. 
Kuffour has been linked with a move to England before, during his time at German side Bayern Munich. Aston Villa, Charlton and Birmingham are all also weighing up a move for Kuffour.
