AC Milan seeking cut-price deal for Manchester United midfielder
AC Milan are reportedly monitoring the contract situation of Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera with a view to a January move for his services.
The Spain international has been with the Red Devils for the past four seasons but his future remains uncertain beyond the current one with his contract expiring in 10 months' time.
As a result, the Rossoneri are said to be tracking the proceedings and Calciomercato reports that they could make an approach for the midfielder during the winter transfer window.
Herrera has regularly talked up the prospect of staying with United for the long-term but so far, the club have barely expressed an interest in extending his contract.
Aside from Herrera, United have the likes of Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic, Fred, Marouane Fellaini, Andreas Pereira and Scott McTominay who can slot into the midfield and this has reduced the urgency to commit the Spaniard to a fresh deal.
