John Terry set for Chelsea comeback?
Chelsea are reportedly prepared to offer John Terry a route back to Stamford Bridge after he turned down a playing role with Spartak Moscow.
The 37-year-old had undergone a series of medical tests with Spartak earlier in the week but he turned doen the overseas challenge after consulting with his family.
Terry is now contemplating over his playing career with Sporting and Aston Villa among those interested but the Blues are prepared to make an offer, should he decide to step into coaching.
According to The Sun, the FA Cup holders are eager to bring the legendary defender back to west London in order to work in close quarters with the younger players coming through the ranks.
It is added that the Blues are aiming to follow a policy of encouraging former players to take up coaching within the club after witnessing league rivals Liverpool among many others do the same.
