Paris Saint-Germain after Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder
French giants Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly prepared to tussle with Manchester City and Manchester United in the race to sign Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Ruben Neves in January.
The 21-year-old joined the Wolves for a Championship-record fee of £16m from Porto last year and he was influential towards their title-winning campaign which ensured their top-flight return.
He has since made a good impression in his maiden stint in the Premier League and this has supposedly captured the eye of both Manchester City and Manchester United.
However, according to Calciomercato, big-spending Paris Saint-Germain have now included the Portuguese in their transfer wishlist and they could lodge an attempt to sign him at the turn of the year.
Wolves are currently unwilling to sanction the midfielder's sale with their ambitions of finishing in the top half but it is said that a fee of around £60m could test their resolve in the New Year.
Neves, who still holds the record of being the youngest-ever Champions League captain at 18 years and 221 days, signed a fresh five-year deal with Wolves earlier in the summer.
