Sarri changes his mind about Hazard
Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has described Eden Hazard as the best player in Europe after his performance in the Blues' 4-1 win over Cardiff City.
The Belgian scored a hat-trick as Chelsea came from a goal down to defeat the Welsh side at Stamford Bridge.
The win means that alongside Liverpool, Chelsea have won all their opening league games this season. Liverpool defeated Tottenham Hotspur by two goals to one in the early game on Saturday.
Speaking at his post-match press conference, Sarri said: "I thought Hazard was one of the best players in Europe, but now I am changing my mind that he is the best."
The Italian went further to add that he believes the Belgian international can improve his game.
Hazard is currently in top form this season having scored five league goals and provided two assists.
He is continuing his fine form at this year's World Cup in Russia where he helped Belgium finish third.
He was a reported target for Real Madrid and Barcelona during the last summer transfer window but apparently remained with the Blues.
Chelsea's attention will now turn to the Europa League where they will face Greek side PAOK on Thursday.
