Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez is reportedly said to no plans of parting ways with the club despite the speculated interest from Manchester United.
A recent report suggested that United may seek to trigger the hefty £134m release clause written into the player's contract in January but El Confidential claims that they are likely to face a losing battle.
According to the Spanish publication, Niguez is clearly content with his stay with the Europa League holders and he is not prepared to leave the club under any circumstances.
Niguez, who was previously in the youth ranks of arch-rivals Real Madrid, has made over 200 appearances for Diego Simeone's side since making his debut during the 2011-12 season.
In this period, he has also managed 12 appearances for the Spain national side, with the most recent ones coming versus England and Croatia, where he managed to contribute his first two goals for his country.
