Tottenham Hotspur join race for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder
Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly joined the race to sign French midfielder Adrien Rabiot from Paris Saint-Germain this winter.
Rabiot has been ever-present for Les Parisiens since the start of the ongoing campaign but he has yet to commit his future beyond the summer of 2019.
As such, the likes of Manchester City, Barcelona and Juventus have been linked with the midfielder and according to Paris United, Spurs are considering an approach of their own in the New Year.
Mauricio Pochettino's side were criticised for failing to make a single signing during the summer transfer window but the manager is said to be keen to reinforce the squad at the turn of the year.
Mousa Dembele has yet to extend his contract beyond the current campaign and Rabiot could be seen as a replacement for the Belgian, who is attracting interest from Chinese side Beijing Guoan.
Tottenham Hotspur have succumbed to back-to-back defeats in the Premier League but they will be seeking to return to winning ways when they face Inter Milan in the Champions League opener in midweek.
