Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly confident of making the Champions League clash against Manchester United despite his straight red card against Valencia in midweek.

The Portugal international had been expectant to make a key contribution for the Bianconeri in his Champions League debut but unfortunately, he could not last for more than 30 minutes after receiving a rather controversial red card.

Since then, Ronaldo has already qualified for a one-match ban against the Young Boys but he is now confident that he won't receive any extended ban for his sending off at the Mestalla, The Express reports.

Should this be the case, the Portuguese would be available for the double header against Manchester United in the Champions League and he would be returning to Old Trafford for the first time since March 2013.

Despite his ban, Ronaldo is free to participate for the Bianconeri in their domestic competitions and he is expected to lead the line when the Turin giants face newcomers Frosinone in the Serie A this weekend.
