Mourinho provides injury news ahead of Wolves clash
Manchester United coach Jose Mourinho has revealed that his side will be without Marcos Rojo and Ander Herrera for Saturday's Premier League game against Wolverhampton Wanderers due to injury.
Rojo's injury has kept him out of action since the World Cup in Russia, but played 55 minutes for the club's Under-23s one week ago. Herrera has missed the last two games after picking up an injury in training.
United will also be without Nemanja Matic and Marcus Rashford who are both suspended.
Speaking ahead of the game, Mourinho said, Manutd.com reports: “There are small things but nothing important. At this moment, Marcos Rojo is not training with the team, but Herrera is in the final phase of his recovery. Apart from them [and the suspended players], everyone is ready.”
Mourinho further added that Phil Jones is ready to play after sustaining a hamstring injury in the game against Tottenham Hotspur in August.
The Portuguese also provided some additional piece of team news by saying that new boy Diogo Dalot will not feature against Wolves in order to keep him fresh for subsequent fixtures.
After being out injured since his arrival from FC Porto, the 19-year-old made his debut in United's 3-0 win over Young Boys in the Champions League on Wednesday.
