Radamel Falcao linked with MLS move
Colombia international forward Radamel Falcao could be set for a move to Major League Soccer, amidst interest from the USA for the Monaco front man. It is understood that Monaco are ready to let Falcao leave the club for a nominal fee in the January transfer window.
The former Chelsea and Man Utd striker has disappointed in recent months and could now be allowed to leave the Principality club for a new experience abroad.
Having a contract up until the end of the 2019-10 season means that he will not be allowed to leave the club for a free transfer, but it is expected that the MLS will pay around $5 million to snap up the forward.
The 32-year-old has scored 3 goals and 2 assists in just 7 matches for Monaco this year but is believed to be desperate for a new challenge somewhere else and is also rumoured to be keen to make a move closer to his home country of Colombia with his next transfer move.
Radamel Falcao is also hopeful that he will continue his international career until at least 34 and a move to the MLS will guarantee regular first-team football.
