Adrien Rabiot rejects latest PSG contract offer
French midfielder Adrien Rabiot has turned down Paris St Germain's most recent contract offer. The highly-rated youngster has been a mainstay of PSG's midfield in recent seasons and has already instructed his agent to find him a new club, with Arsenal and Man City both leading candidates.
With the Gunners looking set to lose Aaron Ramsey either in the January transfer window or next summer, new manager Unai Emery is rumoured to be lining up a move for Rabiot as a potential replacement for the Welshman. Emery worked with Rabiot during his time in Paris and the Arsenal coach is also a big fan of Granit Xhaka, who he hopes can eventually move further forward as an attacking midfielder.
Meanwhile Man City are also weighing up the transfer market for potential long-term replacements for Fernandinho.
According to BeIN, Rabiot has rejected a third contract offer from PSG worth in excess of 7 million euros per season. Rabiot is desperate to make a move to the Premier League or La Liga and is hopeful that an agreement can be reached in the January transfer window.
