Scott McTominay to be loaned out by Manchester United?

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is reportedly weighing up the possibility of loaning Scott McTominay when the transfer window reopens in January.
The 21-year-old made his breakthrough under the Portuguese head coach last term and he has since accumulated 23 appearances for the club across all competitions.
Despite this, he has not quite managed to cement his place in the starting XI and The Mirror suggests that Mourinho fancies the youngster being loaned out in order to gain valuable experience and gametime.
Championship sides Aston Villa and Leeds United were both in the hunt for the Scot's signature last summer and they may return for his services once more this winter as they seek to strengthen their promotion hopes.
McTominay has managed just two starts for the Red Devils this season and both have come in a rather unfamiliar central defensive role for the Scotland international. He was subbed off at half-time during United's recent 3-2 triumph over Newcastle United.
