Former Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United target Alex Sandro has reportedly stalled over a new contract with Juventus beyond June 2020.

The Brazil international was strongly linked with a summer exit amid interest from some of Europe's elite but ultimately, the Bianconeri refused to sanction his sale.

Since then, he has been in fine form for the Bianconeri across all competitions but this has however not provided progress in terms of extending his contract with the club.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the 27-year-old remains at loggerheads with the Bianconeri hierarchy as he is not content with the salary package up on offer for the new deal.

Nonetheless, the Brazilian is said to favour staying with the Bianconeri, though he has no plans of prolonging his contract unless his wage demands are met by the club.

Sandro has been with Juventus since the summer of 2015 where he joined them from Porto. He has managed to contribute nine goals from 124 appearances across all competitions.
