Rojo wanted by Fenerbahce

Turkish giants Fenerbahce are planning a fresh approach for Marcos Rojo's services when the transfer window reopens at the turn of the year.

The Argentine was strong tipped to join the Istanbul outfit during the summer but a deal never materialised amid his knee injury concern.

Since then, Rojo has happened to sustain another injury which has hampered his progress but of late, he has made the matchday squad for the Red Devils.

According to Fotomac, Fener are planning to make another move in the New Year and they are confident that they can prise away the Argentine from the club.

Rojo only signed a fresh three-year deal earlier in March but he has dropped down to the pecking order to the state that he is deemed surplus to requirements.

The Argentine has yet to make an appearance for United in any competition this term and that could remain the case in the forthcoming weeks with Chris Smalling and Victor Lindelof appearing settled in the central defence.
