Manchester City keen on signing Alex Sandro
Manchester City are reportedly looking into a possible deal for Alex Sandro after tracking the full-back during Juventus' recent Champions League clash versus Manchester United.
The Brazil international has been linked with a wide range of European clubs in recent weeks and this has come about from him rejecting a new Old Lady deal beyond June 2020.
According to The Sun, Juventus could sanction the sale of Sandro for around £50m in January, should they manage to secure the signature of Marcelo from Real Madrid.
It is added that City are among the leading contenders to pursue the left-sided defender after watching him up close during Juventus' European meeting against Manchester United in midweek.
Sandro has made over 120 appearances for Juventus since joining them from Porto three years ago. Aside from his regular left-back role, Sandro has also been occasionally utilised as a left-sided midfielder during his time in Turin.
