Wolverhampton Wanderers join race for Liverpool striker
Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly joined the list of clubs interested in signing Divock Origi from Liverpool.
The Wolves have made a fine start on their top-flight comeback with 15 points from their opening 10 games but they have managed just nine goals in the process.
As such, the west Midlands side are likely to spend on the attack front at the turn of the year and according to The Express, an approach could be made for Origi.
Origi was strongly tipped to make way from the Reds during the summer but the Belgian opted against the move as he was prepared to fight for his position under Jurgen Klopp.
However, he has since failed to make a single start for the club in any competition and it now appears certain that he could be offloaded when the transfer window reopens.
Liverpool are said value Origi in the region of £20m and it remains to be seen whether Wolves would match the price tag for a marksman, who should be lacking the much-needed match sharpness.
