Real Madrid want ex-Liverpool winger next summer

European champions Real Madrid are reportedly plotting an approach to sign former Liverpool and current AC Milan attacker Suso next summer.

Suso, who represented Liverpool between 2010 and 2015, had cap the radar of a number of top European sides last summer after contributing six goals and seven assists during the previous league campaign.

He has continued to improve on that performance with four goals and seven assists already in the current Serie A season and Mediaset claims that his progress has captured the attention of Los Blancos.

It is added that Spanish giants are more than willing to trigger the player's £35m release clause, though any transfer may have to wait until the end of the current season.

Los Blancos recently sacked Julen Lopetegui from the head coach role after three straight La Liga losses but interim coach Santiago Solari has managed to change this trend after the club's 2-0 success versus Real Valladolid on Saturday.
