West Ham United keen on signing ex-Arsenal winger
West Ham United are reportedly planning a winter approach to pursue the services of former Arsenal and current Parma attacker Gervinho.
The 31-year-old joined the Serie A newcomers on a three-year deal during the summer after he terminated his contract with Hebei China Fortune at the end of the previous season.
He has since contributed three goals from seven Serie A appearances for the Italian minnows and according to Calciomercato, the Hammers could make a surprise approach for his signature in the New Year.
Gervinho has prior Premier League experience having featured for the Gunners between 2011 and 2013 where he managed 11 goals from 63 appearances across all competitions.
West Ham United returned to winning ways over the weekend after they secured a comfortable 4-2 league triumph over Burnley at the London Stadium.
The victory was only their third of the ongoing league campaign and this sees them now sixth points adrift of the relegation places after 11 games played.
