Chelsea favourites to pursue highly-rated Dortmund attacker

Chelsea are reportedly considered favourites to pursue a future move for Christian Pulisic after he talked up the desire of playing in the Premier League

The USA international has been with Borussia Dortmund since 2016 and over the past two years, he has transformed into one of the Bundesliga's most-sought after attackers.

Amidst this, he has been linked with the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool but according to The Guardian, the Blues could jump ahead of the race, should the youngster make the decision to head to the English top-flight.

Speaking to reporters, Pulisic recently suggested that he would like to make the move to the Premier League at some stage in his glowing professional career.

"England, the Premier League, is a league where lots of kids dream of playing so there is no reason why maybe one day I won't play here," he told reporters.

However, the 20-year-old added that he is content with the proceedings at Dortmund and he is hoping to have a great year ahead with the German heavyweights.

Dortmund have made a quick start to the current Bundesliga season and they are currently holding a four-point lead over Borussia Monchengladbach at the top of the standings.
