Alex Sandro reveals his dream of playing Premier League football
Juventus defender Alex Sandro has suggested that he has the desire to play in the Premier League at some stage of his professional career.
The Brazil international has been linked with Chelsea and Manchester United over the past year, though neither have managed to negotiate any kind of deal for his services.
In a report covered by Sky Italia, Sandro hinted that he could leave the Bianconeri in the future as he still has the ambition of plying his trade in the English top-flight.
"I think, one day, who knows what will happen? have a desire to play in the Premier League but right now I am very happy where I am at, the club I am at [Juventus], the league I am playing in," he said.
Nonetheless, he has regularly iterated that he is content at Juventus but it remains unclear whether he would extend his stay beyond the expiry of his current contract.
The Brazilian has already turned an initial offer from Juventus to extend his deal beyond June 2020 and it remains to be seen whether the Bianconeri can find a breakthrough during the course of the ongoing campaign.
