Manchester United boss responds to Alexis Sanchez exit talk
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has clarified that Alexis Sanchez is not looking for a potential exit from Old Trafford at the turn of the year.
The Chilean has struggled for form since his move from Arsenal last winter and he has managed just four goals for the club across all competitions to date.
Amidst this, he has been linked with a potential switch away from United in the New Year but Mourinho has insisted that the attacker has revealed no ambition of pursuing a fresh challenge.
"I don't think so because he has never told me that he wants to leave. He never told me that he's not happy to stay. He is playing like the team.He is improving, like the team is improving, when he plays he is giving us his personality," he said.
Sanchez has been picked for the bench by Mourinho for this afternoon's Premier League clash against Crystal Palace at home. United are currently seven points behind the Champions League positions after the opening 12 games.
