Cesc Fabregas drops key update on his Chelsea future

Cesc Fabregas has indicated that he is most likely to remain with Chelsea for the remainder of the campaign despite his contract approaching towards its end.
The 31-year-old has only started in the League Cup and Europa League games this term and this has spread speculation regarding his future with his current deal expiring in seven months' time.
However, speaking ahead of the Fulham game, the Spaniard has acknowledged that he can agree on a pre-contract with a foreign club but he remains content with the current proceedings.
"Yes I will stay here until the end of the season. I play at Stamford Bridge, I'm happy. That's the most important thing. But of course every player wants to play more," he is quoted as saying by The Mirror.
Fabregas impressed during the 4-0 Europa League triumph over PAOK in midweek with a couple of assists but he may once more drop to the bench for the league derby against Fulham.
