Serie A giants eyeing winter deal for Mesut Ozil?
Inter Milan are reportedly weighing up a move for Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil, who has struggled to garner regular gametime with Unai Emery in recent weeks.
The Germany international was benched for the entirety of the 2-1 win over Bournemouth last weekend and he could not make the squad for recent north London derby after picking up a back spasm in training.
In between this, there has been regular speculation regarding his Gunners future and The Sun claims that the Nerazzurri are among the leading clubs vying to lure him from the Emirates Stadium.
Still, a deal could be far from straightforward amid the midfielder's staggering £350,000-a-week wages and the German would have to take a paycut to pursue a fresh challenge elsewhere.
Ozil only signed a new long-term deal with the Gunners in January this year after a lengthy contract standoff but this has not assured him of regular playing time under Emery, who has been concerned with the workrate of the former Real Madrid man.
