Emery appears to sway away from questions related to Ozil

Arsenal manager Unai Emery appeared to sway away from questions regarding Mesut Ozil's absence in the recent Premier League derby against Tottenham Hotspur.

The Gunners opened the scoring via Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang but found themselves trailing 2-1 at the break after a quick-fire double from Mauricio Pochettino's men.

However, they managed to make a sublime comeback during the second period of the game with Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette and Lucas Torreira ensuring a comfortable 4-2 victory in the end.

Speaking after the game, Emery was asked about Ozil's absence for the north London derby but he appeared to respond in a simple manner by confirming his back problem, he said: "He has back ache."

Meanwhile, the Spanish tactician further said that he has no idea over how the injury was picked and would rather concentrate on the players, who delivered the derby triumph, he added: "I don’t know. This is a good day to speak about players who played".

Arsenal picked up their second straight north London derby win over Spurs at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday and the victory has witnessed them jump to the fourth position in the standings.
