Hazard close to Real Madrid move?

Chelsea attacker Eden Hazard is understood to have agreed personal terms with Real Madrid ahead of a potential switch at the end of the ongoing season.

The Belgium international has been reluctant to extend his Blues deal over the past year and this has intensified speculation over his future with his contract expiring in 18 months' time.

According to radio station Onda Madrid, the Belgian is said to have already agreed terms over a contract package with the European champions with a view to joining them next summer.

However, the Spanish giants have yet to finalise a transfer fee with the Blues for the attacker's transfer and that could yet prove a stumbling block at the end of the campaign.

The Blues are currently said to want a fee of around £150m to part ways with the Belgian and that is a figure which Los Blancos remain reluctant to match with his contract expiring at the end of next season.

Meanwhile, reports elsewhere have suggested that Los Blancos may seek to offer the services of Mateo Kovacic on a permanent basis in order to knock down the asking price of the former Lille graduate.
