Neymar reveals Premier League ambitions

Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar has said that he is hopeful of plying his trade in the Premier League during the backend of his professional career.

The Brazil international was regularly linked with the likes of Manchester United and Manchester City during his time at Barcelona before he made the switch to Parc des Princes in a world-record move last year.

However, this has not ceased the speculation regarding his future with reports linking him with a return to the Spanish La Liga but Neymar appears to have other plans in mind.

When responding to a question asked by Manchester City's Benjamin Mendy on Youtube, Neymar acknowledged that he would want to feature in the English top-flight at some stage, if he is to be considered a great player.

He said: "It is a big competition, one of the greatest in the world. We don't know what will happen tomorrow but I believe that every great player, at least one day, has to play in the Premier League."

Neymar recently suffered a recurrence of the groin problem sustained with Brazil during the international break and he was expected to be left out of the Montpellier game in midweek before it was postponed due to protests in Paris.
