Chelsea to offload Tammy Abraham in January?
Chelsea could reportedly part ways with Tammy Abraham on a permanent basis in the New Year in order to recoup funds for the purchase of Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson.
The west London side are desperate to pursue a new marksman at the turn of the year and Wilson has been highlighted as one of their prime targets after contributing eight goals and five assists for the Cherries this term.
According to Evening Standard, the Blues are considering the prospect of recalling Abraham from his loan stint at Aston Villa next month and they could thereafter sanction his sale to the highest bidder.
From there, they are likely to make an approach to prise away Wilson from the South Coast, although manager Eddie Howe has recently suggested that the Englishman is 'very focused' on his Bournemouth duties.
Chelsea suffered a disappointing 1-0 league defeat at the hands of Leicester City on Saturday and this sees them clinging onto the final Champions League spot ahead of Arsenal on only goal difference.
