West Ham tracking Barcelona marksman

West Ham United are reportedly among the clubs monitoring the progress of Munir El Haddadi, who has struggled to make himself a regular with Barcelona.

The Spaniard has been with the Blaugrana first-team since the summer of 2014 but he has struggled for regular playing time with just over 50 appearances in all competitions.

In between this, he has spent a couple of loan spells at Valencia and Alaves respectively and according to Mundo Deportivo, the current campaign could be his final one with the Spanish champions.

As such, the east Londoners are understood to be tracking the Spaniard's progress with a view to a summer move, although they are likely to face competition from Borussia Dortmund, Napoli and AS Roma.

West Ham United have generally depended on Marko Arnautovic and Javier Hernandez for the centre-forward duties this term but the positions of both players remain uncertain for another campaign.

While Arnautovic has been linked with a big-club move elsewhere, Hernandez is said to have presented a negative atmosphere in the dressing room this term.
