Wolves eyeing surprise swoop for Colombian ace
Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly considering a surprise move for AS Monaco striker Radamel Falcao during the winter transfer window.
The Colombian has been a key contributor for the Principality outfit since the 2016/17 season but his future remains under discussion with his contract expiring in 18 months' time.
According to The Mail, Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo is weighing up a potential move for Falcao this month in order to enhance the club's prospects of finishing in the top half of the table.
Raul Jimenez has already been a success since his loan move from Benfica last summer and he has managed to contribute six league goals including one in the recent 3-1 comeback triumph at Tottenham Hotspur.
Still, there has not been much expertise behind Jimenez in the club's ranks and Nuno seems keen on reinforcing the department with at least one recruit this month.
Falcao has previously spent season-long loan stints with Manchester United and Chelsea respectively but he could not make any major impact with either with just five goals scored.
